COVID 19 Update: We are now reopen as of the 1st July with all the precautions suggested by the local authorities. We will have further updates with our full COVID policy soon, in the mean time don't hesitate to book now through our contact page. Hello (future) surfers!!Summertime... so we can surf back in our shorts and lycra or in your bikini. The water is now 21 degrees and air temperature is about 27-30 degrees and the waves are still rolling, but probably at you home it is now also good weather (but I have some doubts that the waves are rolling at your hometown...). The waves don't get that big as in the winter but we are lucky that we have also the wind swell in the summer. When we have wind swell we go surfing on the east coast (playa burro, playa moro, playa blanca) and when there is no wind and we have ground swell we go surfing on the northshore (punta blanca, boneyards) or on the west coast (cotillo, playa de las mujeres). If you book 1 week surfschool or surfcamp with Homegrown you will be surfing several surf spots and meanwhile see something of the island... So when you are stoked for surf, book a flight, fly 4 hours and you will enjoy the golden beaches of Fuerteventura and the atmosphere at the Homegrown surfcamp and surfschool From 1 September we have the endless summer offer! The Gold surf pack and the Silver surf pack. |
